WEEK 6 -- The answers of five question

1. If I were alone in a deserted house, I would light firewood first. Because if I light firewood, the light will more lighter than an oil lamp and candle, And some animals are very scared of fire. They will stay away it so that I will be safe at night. I also can use it to keep my body warm.

2. I will put hydrogen in the box. Because hydrogen is a kind of gas. It's no weight and hydrogen is a very special gas. The more hydrogen I put maybe the box will fly.

3. I think the inside side of a cat contains the most hair. Because they usually lay on the ground with their inside side. And scientists have proven that cats lay on their side they need the insulation from the cold on the ground. So I think inside side will have more hair than the other side to keep warm.

4. Maybe I will create a kind of machine. If the chickens come in, the machine will feel it and play a sound of gun to scare them.

5. Maybe the bee's eyes got some problem. It can not see down just only can see the straight. And the flower painting was so real. So the bee miss the vase.

WEEK 4 -- MIND MAP_Save The Earth

This week my group did a "mind map" together and our topic is "SAVE THE EARTH". When we got this topic, we thought it was a good topic and we should plan it well. Because earth is where we live and we must protect and save it.

As you can see, we divide into five small topics which are "SAVE", "3Rs", "ENVIRONMENT", "ANIMALS" and "WHAT TO DO". Base on these five small topics, we write a few suggestions.

About the painting, because of the topic is "SAVE THE EARTH". We draw an earth planet in the middle and we also draw some famous architectures around it. Like Pyramid, Eiffel Tower and Big Ben etc. About the "3Rs" which means Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Because it is environmental and green, we draw a big tree and the main color is green. And the whole painting is very colorful.

During making this project, I find there are a lot of good ways to save and protect our earth. Just some little things and I think we all can do that. Such as we can bring our own bags rather than use the shop's plastic bag when we go to the supermarket. Maybe you will think if just you do like this, the power is very little, but when everybody realize that we should do some actions to protect our planet. There will be powerful when many people do that.

WEEK 5 - Reflection after presentation

SAVE THE EARTH FROM OURSELVES

Yesterday my group finished our mind map-SAVE THE EARTH presentation. I found maybe everyone thought save the earth is very big and  difficult for us. In other word, save the earth is supposed to be some environmental departments' job. But we all lived there, we lived on the earth. All the houses, architectures and restaurants are built on it. Saving the earth is all human's duty. We don't have to do some big things like creating a machine for solving the pollution. From some little things we also can help to save the earth. Save the earth from little things, from ourself. And that video is to inspire us to save the earth from present from ourself.

There a few suggestions that I think we all can do in our real life. For example, never buy the clothing or other things are made by animals' skin an fur. Never throw rubbish into the river or everywhere. Using more recycle things. Taking more public transportation instead of private cars. We also can join some green organizations to follow them do some meaningful things. Like telling more people the importance of saving the earth. We can create our own stuff like make a environmental bag so when you go to the supermarket or shopping, you don't the plastic bags any more.

WEEK 2 - Breaking The Rules

The cups can have three legs! It's not the same as normal cups or goblet. We can let our cups

"stand" not just "sit" on the table!

As you can see, one cup also can become two cups. I think they are cute and lovely. You can buy them with your bestfriend or boyfriend/girlfriend.

They are so interesting! Right! As a table and a chair, they have the human's leg. It's a very attractive design.

There are two little tables on one table. Who said a table just can be one table? We also can put more things one this table. It's an interesting and practical design.

Is it an onion? No, actually it is a light but just looks like an onion. If let me choose this light or a normal light, I will definitely choose the onion one. It's cute! Isn't it?

WEEK 2 - Take a Journey

From my home to school, I just need to walk around 7 minutes. So I go to school and go home on foot every day. I realized that I had not explored around my house so I decided to look at it. One day, after class I was on the way to my home and I didn't go back to home. I just went straight and I found something new. There were many beautiful apartments behind my house and there was a little park and a kindergarten. There were lots of trees and plants in the park. I also saw many people were doing exercises like running in the park and some kids were playing the swing. In that time I thought I found a good place to go for a walk. If I didn't decide to do it, maybe I would not find this place. It's very interesting to go to somewhere you haven't gone before. Maybe you will get a surprise:)

Tim Brown: Tales of creativity and play


In this speech, Tim Brown showed some opinions about creativity and play. He found people forgot some behaviors while they were growing and the kids still got them. People didn't playful or creative than kids. But we still could be playful and creative. And it was not serious or playful, it was " and ". We needed to trust it. And there some behaviors we had learned from kids. They were very useful to the designers.

WEEK 1 -- A PICTURE A WEEK

Last Sunday, my friends and I went to the Universal Studios Singapore. We all spent a very good time there. There are lots of different amusement parks. Like Hollywood, New York, Ancient Egypt etc. We also saw many movie characters there like Minions, Shrek and Transformers etc. As you can the picture are minions. They are cute, aren't they? All the buildings were very interesting and beautiful. We just felt like going to another world, an interesting and funny world! There were also many amusement facilities there. Such as the Roller Coaster with the different themes and rafting. It was very exciting. During the whole process of playing, we heard many screams. So it was a little scared but it was really funny! This place it’s worth to visit it with your friends or family. You will have a great time in there!
